The keyboard shortcuts in Sashimii, for playback, cutting, join review, notes, graphics and export.

Views and Playback

Keys	What they do
⌘1	Source view: the whole recording
⌘2	Cut view: playback skips the cuts
⌘3	Edit view: the cut with its graphics
E	Switch between Cut and Edit
Space	Play or pause
J	Jump back 3 seconds and play
K	Pause
L	Play; press again while playing to speed up, up to 2×
← →	Step one frame
⇧← ⇧→	Step one second
Home, End	Jump to the start or end
⌥F	Large Preview on or off
[ ]	Jump to the previous or next join
Esc	Close a popover, then clear the selection, then leave Large Preview

Timeline

Keys	What they do
= and -	Zoom in and out around the playhead
⌘-scroll, pinch	Zoom around the pointer
⌘0	Fit the whole recording
⌥-drag	Pan

Cutting

Keys	What they do
Delete	Cut the selected words or range; restore struck-through words
⇧Delete	Restore the selection
Delete, ⇧Delete	With a kept pause’s Cut and Keep showing: Cut, or Keep
⇧⌘E	Place edges on the waveform again
⌘Z, ⇧⌘Z	Undo, redo

Join Review

Keys	What they do
R or ⌘J	Start or end join review
Space	Play across the join
← →	Nudge the active edge a frame
⇧← ⇧→	Nudge it five frames
Tab	Switch between the out and in side
Return	Accept and move to the next join
[ ]	Previous and next join
Esc	End review

Notes and Graphics

Keys	What they do
N	Add a note to the selected words, range or graphic
⌘Return	Save the note
⌃⌘I	Show or hide the Notes column
A	Approve the selected graphic (again to unapprove)
Delete	Delete the selected graphic

Project and Export

Keys	What they do
⌘N	New project from a folder
⌘O	Open a project
⌘W	Close the project
⌘E	Export
⌥⌘V	Voice cleanup
⇧⌘O	Listen to the original sound
⌥⌘S	Style board
⌥⌘N	Start a new Style on this video
