# Sashimii > Sashimii cuts your talking-head recording from its transcript, on your Mac. Fix any join to the frame, then finish in Sashimii or in DaVinci Resolve. Sashimii is a Mac app (macOS 26 or later · Apple silicon) for rough cuts of spoken recordings: talking-head video, or audio alone. It transcribes on the Mac, the user's own AI agent (Claude Code or Codex, through the Sashimii skill and command-line tool) drafts the cut, and the user reviews every join in the app, then renders an MP4 or exports an editable timeline to DaVinci Resolve. It is in a free beta; testers are invited in small groups. Contact: hello@sashimii.app. Feedback: https://sashimii.userjot.com. Every page below is also on the site as HTML, at the same URL without `.md`. Agents helping a user with Sashimii should start with the Docs, in particular "For Agents". ## Core pages - [Sashimii](https://sashimii.app/index.md): The rough cut you wanted, already done. - [Join the Beta](https://sashimii.app/beta.md): Sign up for the Sashimii beta for Mac.
